Cinemagraphs

A cinemagraph is a picture with minor (or sometimes major) elements of motion. I came across a tutorial for creating cinemagraphs on Photojojo’s blog and I’ve been hooked ever since. I created this gallery as a place to display some of the cinemagraphs I’ve made. These are some of my favorites and I have several more on my Picasa Web Album.

These are great! Nicely done. I notice people are forgetting the subtlety of these. They’re not supposed to be a fast jerky loop like a gif.
    You nail it.
    Thanks for sharing.

Stephen, I am enjoying your show. By the way, I am viewing your show while I am looking out of my bedroom window patio, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean here at Myrtle Beach; understand that your Grandma and Grandpa will be looking out of their ocean view next Sunday.
    Love, Uncle Jack
